What is Kindermusik

Each Kindermusik class is a world of discovery and adventure. In every class, you'll witness your child's development in language skills, literacy, listening, problem solving, social skills, self-esteem, and musicality. And it happens within a nurturing environment full of energy, imagination, music, dancing and play.

By adding new concepts and challenges along the way, each age-appropriate program acts as a stepping stone to the next, paving the way to a musical journey that can last seven magnificent, musical years.

Family involvement in children's learning is a fundamental cornerstone of the Kindermusik philosophy.  We believe parents are the child's most important teachers, and the home is the most important place for a child's learning to take root and grow.

That's why Kindermusik is much more than a weekly class.  Your home materials are tools to continue your Kindermusik experience together as a family.

 While Kindermusik plants the seeds of learning through music in the classroom, you will use the home materials to cultivate lifelong learning

Village, Kindermusik for babies to age 18 months,  provides an  environment unlike any other.  Through a unique blend of multi-level activities, including creative movement, vocal play, and instrument exploration, your baby’s growth and development are stimulated and all of his senses engaged.   Kindermusik Village incorporates the most current research on early childhood development while providing families a special place for learning and connecting with other parents and babies..............

Kindermusik Imagine That!, for children ages 3 to 5, is designed for active, energetic, and imaginative preschoolers.  It encourages socialization, sharing, and participation in group activities.

Singing becomes a focus for enhancing the preschooler’s vocal development as her expressive language is just beginning to emerge...........

Our Time, Kindermusik for children ages 1 1/2 to 3,  encourages your child to uncover an engaging musical world while building confidence, self-control, and communications skills.

Singing, imitating sounds, rhyming, and object identification foster language skills. Creative movement to various musical “moods” develops a sense of balance, timing, and spatial awareness. Listening and turn-taking encourage blossoming social skills.........

 Kindermusik Our Time.

Kindermusik for the Young Child provides a pressure-free class where your child can develop a strong musical foundation by learning the concepts, language, notation, and vocabulary of music and its greatest composers.      The Young Child class is designed for children ages 5 to 7 who are eager for first experiences with musical symbols and instrument discovery.  It is an excellent precursor or addition to formal lessons.  Parents or caregivers are encouraged to attend the last 10-15 minutes of class.......
